Brief

A new studio in a region full of agencies all selling the same WordPress theme. The site had to make the case itself: if I claim to build faster, better-designed sites, my own site has to prove it before anyone has read a single sentence. Not a shop window full of promises, but a site you can feel as soon as it opens. And all within a week, because a studio that takes months over its own site does not sell itself either.

Approach

Built as a fully static site, with no CMS or heavy framework. All colour, typography and spacing are stored in design tokens: I change them in one place, and the entire site changes with them. This makes the design a system rather than a collection of separate pages. JavaScript is limited to scroll reveals, anonymous analytics hooks and the interactive price configurator; standard pages use no UI framework. The fonts are hosted on my own server rather than Google, photos are sent to Cloudflare as small static files with fixed dimensions, and the contact form also works with JavaScript disabled. Every decision strips away one thing: what does the visitor genuinely need, and what is clutter?

Result

  • 49 static pages in the production build, without a CMS or UI framework
  • Quote configurator plus shared scripts: approximately 10.2 KB gzip in total
  • Build QA: zero typos, unique metadata, one H1 per page and no broken internal links
  • From empty domain to live in one week
  • Easy to manage yourself, without monthly plugin updates
